The World Association of Eye Hospitals is the global association of eye hospitals. All member-hospitals are “centres of excellence” in ophthalmology. This means that they are all focused on delivering the best and most safe ophthalmic care.
The World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH) is the global umbrella body for the regional associations of eye hospitals, like the European Association of Eye Hospitals.
“The annual meeting of the WAEH was special and unexpected. As a physician, I was surprised to learn a great deal from this meeting not about scientific medical things but how to share ideas and improve our clinic and OR systems. There are many common problems worldwide. The exchange was excellent for better understanding and solutions of patient flow and efficiency.”
