Patient satisfaction is a critical indicator of healthcare quality and a key determinant of hospital performance, patient trust, and treatment adherence. In China, particularly in Zhejiang Province, rapid healthcare modernization, rising patient expectations, and persistent urban–rural disparities have intensified the need for systematic approaches to service quality improvement.
The paper synthesizes how DMAIC contributes to improvements in operational efficiency, communication processes, medication safety, and clinical service delivery.
