Give the gift of sight today

2024-04-29 11:57:44

We have some news for you!

Today, Orbis is launching an exciting new online giving platform called Eye Give, where you will be able to get involved with our sight saving work in a brand new way.

With a gift via this new platform, you will help to support vital sight saving work, wherever it is needed the most.

Eye Give will enable you to make donations to the value of equipment on board the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital, the only mobile ophthalmic teaching hospital of its kind.

From just £5.50, you can donate the equivalent cost of Flying Eye Hospital essentials, from a pair of glasses to a surgical equipment set.

On its last trip, the Flying Eye Hospital was in Chile, its first visit to the country, where our amazing volunteers and Flying Eye Hospital staff conducted simulation training.

This innovative training method enabled local doctors to practice complex surgical procedures in a safe and controlled way, meaning that they can go on to perform live surgeries and give their patients the gift of sight.

With a gift today, you can help train even more eye health teams around the world.

We hope you’ll be as excited about this new way of supporting Orbis as we are!
