2024-02-27 07:52:42

The Victoria Cohen Scholarship is now open for applications from aspiring ocular oncologists in need of financial support throughout their fellowship.

The Victoria Cohen Eye Cancer Charitable Trust was established in 2021 in memory of the late Victoria Cohen, former president of ISOO. Victoria was always keen to support the next generation of eye surgeons and the charity ensures her legacy continues.

Each year the charity awards a single scholarship to an aspiring ocular oncologist in need of financial assistance for their training. This year the scholarship is worth $30,000.

Applicants can come from anywhere in the world and can do their fellowship at any recognised Centre of Excellence. For full details of the application and judging process please visit www.vcecct.org.

The deadline for applications is 31st March 2023.
