Sustainability at St. Erik Eye Hospital

Oskar Nordahl

Chief Administrative Officer, St. Erik Eye Hospital, Sweden

In my presentation, I would like to share our thoughts and plans for creating a more sustainable hospital. In 2020 St. Erik moved from our old facilities to a brand new building. We did not only want to relocate, we wanted to challenge how we work and how this could be done with less impact on our environment and how our patients orientate themselves. Our staff are our most important asset, how can our sustainability work contribute to their health and well-being.

Can we take this to a new level? What have other healthcare providers done and what can we learn from each other?
