Summary
We are fighting a global emergency: 950 million people in the world need glasses, but cannot afford them. They usually suffer from the consequences throughout their lives: children cannot learn properly, adults cannot work. The loss of income of these people amounts to 269 billion US Dollars per year.
GoodVision gives those affected access to free vision tests and high-quality, affordable glasses for a self-determined life.
From the humble beginnings in a basement in Erlangen, Germany, GoodVision has distributed well over a million pairs of glasses. But we did not stop there: We can now offer comprehensive eye care services from simple readers to complex operations. We train health care professionals and open rural eye care centers in the most remote areas.
We have become experts in implementation, scaling and digital patient life cycle management. The last mile is our goal. Eye care is a human right and no patient should be left behind.
