Optic Disc Edema an Under-Recognized Feature of Birdshot Chorioretinitis

In a retrospective, multi-center study, Jennifer Thorne, the Cross Family Professor of Ophthalmology at Wilmer Eye Institute, and colleagues concluded that optic disc edema co-occurring with certain clinical findings may suggest a diagnosis of birdshot chorioretinitis. The findings were published in the Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology.
