This year, Wilmer has the distinction of holding the sole first-place rank for Overall Program. Arevalo Named Chairman of the Board of the Pan-American Ophthalmological Foundation
J. Fernando J. Arevalo, M.D., Ph.D., the Edmund F. and Virginia B. Ball Professor of Ophthalmology and the Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, has taken office as the Chairman of the Board of the Pan-American Ophthalmological Foundation.

This five-day course will highlight recent developments in the diagnosis and medical and surgical therapy of common eye diseases. Vision Screening in Our Neighborhoods

When Thomas Johnson, M.D., Ph.D. was a medical student at Johns Hopkins in 2011, he founded a program to provide local residents with free vision screenings and follow-up care. Today, that program continues to serve some of Baltimore’s most vulnerable citizens.
