Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary (Chicago, USA) Associate Member

Welcome: Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary from Chicago, U.S.A.! The Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary is specialized in Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology. It is the only center in Illinois to offer implanted artificial retina that lets patients with very low or no vision to see shapes and movement.

Research in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences contributes to a greater understanding of the visual process and the causes of vision loss. For more than 150 years, the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary has provided the highest standards of excellence in innovative eye care and eye research. In addition, they are teaching the next generation of ophthalmologic specialists.

Welcome: The Ophthalmology Department of Triemli City Hospital from Zürich, Switzerland. The Ophthalmology Department of Triemli City Hospital offers the whole spectrum of the modern Eye surgery and is one of the largest Injection clinics in Switzerland. They offer the whole spectrum of the most modern Eye surgery and are one of the largest Injection clinics in Switzerland. The treatment spectrum ranges from diseases of the eyelids, cornea and conjunctiva to diseases of the retina and the optic nerve to strabismus treatment and children’s ophthalmology. As a pure referral clinic, we examine, advise and treat patients with rare diseases, complex clinical pictures or the most severe cases, including hereditary diseases, eye-endangering infections and tumors of the eye and the eye socket.
