Interested in sports during the Annual Meeting? The city of Melbourne is a vibrant food, sport and art capital. For those of you who are interested in sport, there are a number of activities you can do whilst on your trip. 

If you’re a fan of tennis you can book a court at Melbourne Park and play where Australian Open competitors trained, or if you are interested in Formula 1 you can visit the Grand Prix Track in Albert Park. 

Do Australian sports pique your interest? The remarkable Melbourne Cricket Ground hosts the Australian Sports Museum where you can learn about all things cricket, Australian football and the Olympics. Alternatively, if you’re a keen runner or walker, the iconic ‘Tan Track’ that runs around the Botanic Gardens will provide you with the perfect breathe of fresh air.

The 17th annual meeting of the WAEH is approaching! From October the 10th till October the 14th we will visit the The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital from Melbourne and the Sydney Eye Hospital and the Chatswood Private Hospital from Sydney. We will be talking about Quality and Safety in Eye Care, Innovation, Philanthropy, Sustainability, and Workforce!
