The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Department of Opthalmology has opened a position for an Administrative Director for the UCSF Health Ophthalmology and Optometry practices that will be located at their new San Francisco downtown eye center, the UCSF Wayne and Gladys Valley Center for Vision.

This position works closely with a Medical Director, Surgical Director, and manages 6-7 direct manager reports overseeing our growing department and service line, approaching over $150m in pro/facility fees, 80 providers, and 100 FTEs.

With their new vision center, and offsite expansion, they expect to double in size over the next 3-5 years.  This is a great opportunity to enter at a senior leadership level and help elevate the institute and their service line to new heights. The Administrative Director will be closely involved in department and service line strategic planning, finance, and operations. They will be relied upon for thought leadership, collaboration, and enthusiasm to help the department maintain and grow its success in the coming years.
