2025-01-14 07:55:52

JEC Eye Hospitals & Clinics would like to invite all members of the World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH) to join the 5th JEC International Meeting (JECIM) 2025. As the chairman of the 5th JECIM, we are very pleased to announce that this event will be held on April 25 -26, 2025, at the Fairmont Jakarta, Indonesia.

Five years have passed since the last JECIM in 2020, making this meeting become utterly important for us. Not only will it be the first JECIM after the COVID-19 pandemic, but it will also address the immense advancement and developments in ophthalmology in recent years. With our theme, “Shaping the Future of Vision”, we will spotlight cutting-edge innovations and the latest technological invention in ophthalmology, including the role of artificial intelligence.

JECIM 2025 plans an exciting, high-standard scientific program, which will bring together distinguished international faculty from around the world. Top specialists in ophthalmology will share their expertise and insights with doctors, clinicians, and researchers from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

The program will feature the myopia epidemic currently happening all over the world, particularly in Asia, through a myopia control care session. Additionally, we will present a hospital management segment, with keynote speakers from the hospital industries in the region. World-renowned experts and respected speakers from four continents and over ten countries will gather at the 5th JECIM 2025 to share their knowledge and experiences. From hospital management symposia, scientific sessions, didactic courses and hands-on workshops, to plenary sessions, we have prepared a comprehensive program for all delegates. The 5th JECIM 2025 also provides delegates with an excellent opportunity to establish networks and foster collaborations with peers and colleagues.

On behalf of JECIM committee, we would like to express our gratitude to the World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH) and the ASEAN Association of Eye Hospitals (AAEH) for their cooperation in making this meeting possible. We also wish to extend our highest appreciation to Indonesian Ophthalmology Association (IOA) and INAEH (Indonesian Association of EYE Hospital / ARSAMI) for their substantial and generous support.

We are pleased to invite WAEH members to participate as speakers in the Hospital Management Symposia sessions at the 5th JEC International Meeting (JECIM) 2025, which will be held on Friday, April 25th, 2025, at the Fairmont Jakarta, Indonesia. The sessions and suggested topics are as follows:

  • Sustainable Innovation in Eye Care From Global Perspective
  • Navigating Business Models & Legal Landscapes
  • Patient-Centered Eye Care Management
